Global Corporate Identity, Vol. 18, to Feature 25 Designs from Compass Design, Minneapolis

Minneapolis (August 2002) - Compass Design, the brand identity and package design firm in Minneapolis, will have 25 packaging and logo designs featured in Global Corporate Identity 2002, Volume 18.

"It is very unusual for a firm to enter 25 pieces and have all of them chosen for a book," says editor David E. Carter. He adds that Compass Design's submissions were chosen for "overall design excellence" from more than 3,000 entries.

The Compass team also was a bit surprised by the volume of their accepted entries. "Having all 25 of our entries selected was a huge complement to both the quality of our work, as well as our ability to uphold good design standards across so many projects," says Compass Partner/Designer Mitch Lindgren.

Compass Design's 25 selected entries are:

  • August Schell Brewing Company's (1) logo design plus package designs for (2) Firebrick Lager, (3) Deer Brand Original and (4) Deer Brand 18-pack
  • Aunt Gussies Cookies & Crackers' cookie package design
  • Betty Crocker Carrot Cake Kit package design
  • Buckin' Bass Brewing Company logo design
  • Jack Tool Box Company logo design
  • Jake's Trading Company (1) logo and (2) package design
